Work It

Hey gang,
I'm in something a little different to what I would normally wear today. I had my eyes on this Rollas crop at work, and then my boss suggested I team it with the Luck and Trouble skirt we also have. As a work outfit we also need to wear sandals with a back on them, so I popped over to the Hype store for these Shubar shoes which you can get here. I've been a big jeans wearer so far at work so it is something I'm not totally comfortable in, which you might be able to tell haha but I think it's fun to experiment and mix things up. It was pouring with rain this morning so we didn't take too many snaps but here are a couple.

Coming Home

Hey!
So it has been a couple of weeks since I have been on the blog, apart from being busy with work I just haven't got the access to my fab photographer Dad and his amazing camera! I'm back home today and it is a little cold and looks like it's going to rain, so instead of getting out in a new outfit I decided, since it is almost six months since I have started this, that I would look back on my posts so far. So here is a selection!  It's so nice to be home with my dogs (and my family of course hahaha) and I have been thinking about home a lot lately. Not just this one, the much loved mish mash treasure chest that I was raised in, but the one I share with my aunty, places I have previously lived, whereabouts I feel comfortable. Walking up the driveway of a friends' the other day I laughed as I watched my phone connect to the wifi before I hit the front door! A little bit of me will always feel at home in Jindabyne, a place that plenty of travellers come and go from, but I will never ever forget coming around the corner of the hill and seeing Lake Jindabyne for the first time. That was the beginning of another chapter in my life, one where I have had the opportunity to meet the most amazing people ever. I feel at home in Brunswick Heads further north, wandering along with a coffee or an ice cream in hand, sitting by the water and loving life. Although I don't plan to live in Perth long term at the moment, it will always be the little city I know best. I'm looking forward to so many more adventures and other places beginning to feel like home too. Although when I see the faces of my dog babies, I start to think that home has a heartbeat!
Anyway I hope you have enjoyed looking back at a few of my outfits over the past few months, it has been such a great experience for me to have them captured, and learning to appreciate myself more as I share them. Hopefully tomorrow the sun will be shining and I can get my pale legs out again.
Until then,
love
Kath
